Patient Preparation
8 to 14 hour fast after 3 days of normal carbohydrate (> 150 g/day) diet. Perform only if fasting glucose is < 150 mg/dl.
Special Collection Instructions
- Draw fasting specimen.
- Give 100 g glucola.
- Draw venous specimen at 1, 2, 3 hours post consumption.
