Limitations
- Only for the detection of hemoglobin in feces.
- Patients with the following conditions should not be considered for testing until bleeding ceases:
- bleeding hemorrhoids
- menstrual bleeding
- constipation related bleeding
- urinary bleeding
- OC-Auto Micro 80 FOB test is not intended for use in patients with upper GI bleeds.
