Indications

After initial HLA Antibody Screening, Single Antigen screening may be performed for pre-transplant patients to identify antibodies to HLA Class I or II alleles. If positive by PRA, Single Antigen (high resolution) testing will be performed on the initial sample and the two monthly samples thereafter. Single antigen assays may be performed every six months or after Mixed screens (Intermediate resolution) as needed.

Special Instructions

Need to indicate the Patient Status as one of the following at the time of collection: HW- Hold for Workup, TX- Transplanted, AT- Awaiting Transplant, H- Hold, Listed in UNET
