Indications
Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) testing is performed to identify the proteins found on the surface of white blood cells. HLA typing is used to match patients and donors for bone marrow transplants. Bone Marrow recipient typing consists of Class I AB&C and Class II High Resolution typing.
