Methodology/Method Description | Sysmex / Manual Differential – Sysmex device counts RBCs using electronic resistance detection. WBCs are evaluated using flow cytometry with a semiconductor laser exploiting the differences in size, complexity and RNA/DNA content. Manual differentials are performed by skilled laboratory techs. |
